We want to be honest with you.

Based on what you've told us, it sounds like the person you have in mind may need a higher level of support than Edmiston Living is designed to provide.

We are not a care home. We don't provide personal care, nursing support or round-the-clock assistance. Our residents are independent people who want the comfort of community — but manage their own daily needs.

If more hands-on support is needed, a residential care home or nursing home would be a better fit and would give the person the level of care they deserve. We'd encourage you to speak with your GP or a care advisor who can help you find the right place.

If the situation changes, or if we've misread things, please do get in touch — we're always happy to have a conversation.

It may also be that assisted living — with a care package arranged privately — could be the right fit. If that feels like it might apply, we're very happy to have a conversation about whether Edmiston Living could work for you.
